GMA Dove Award nominee for Best Christian Album/Song (2013) – is a multi-talented mega producer, Rap-singer, songwriter, and CEO of his own record label. With over 300 songs to his name across Contemporary Urban Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Jazz fusion genres, BKC brings a unique sound inspired by his Detroit roots. Growing up in Motown, his father (CEO of Victori Promotions & Marketing/ Music Executive), and music promoter, as well as his mother, a music educator, immersed him in the heart of music early on.
BKC’s musical journey began at a prominent private school in northwest Detroit (where the hit singer Aaliyah attended- Gesu), where he explored music, arts, science, and religion. His first encore performance at age eight earned him a memorable place in Detroit’s music scene, drawing praise from his school and community alike. He received offers to join pop bands across the nation (in urban markets such as LA, Atlanta, and NYC), but honoring his parents’ wishes, he stayed in Detroit, performing locally and recording music. By middle school, he had formed a popular rap group that earned a devoted local following. This path set the stage for his later success, establishing him as a musical force throughout the Midwest!
